1. Why do some people want to do family business?
Well, off the top of my head, I can think of two main reasons why that happens. First of all, when you start a business, you usually want to have a partner whom you can rely on and trust them 100% and family members are people who we have known our entire life so our requirements are naturally met, we don’t have to worry about them backstabbing us as much when we work with strangers.
The second reason is that in a business, especially in successful ones, there is usually sensitive and important information that the owner doesn’t want outsiders to know since once the secret is out, others can also go and establish their own business. Therefore, the business owner usually wants to keep these information inside the family circle and make it as confidential as much as possible so that later on, the business may even be passed down to future generations rather than letting outsiders inside the family business. So yeah, I think that’s two reasons why people would want to start a family business.
